Commissions.
A piece made for you — a portrait, a place, or an idea you have been carrying around. Open for a small number of commissions at a time.
Five steps.
- 01
Tell me what you have in mind
A photo, a person, a place, or just a feeling. The looser the brief, the more questions I will ask — both work.
- 02
We agree size, medium and price
Ballpoint, ink, or oil pastel; paper or canvas. You get a fixed price and a timeline before anything starts.
- 03
Half up front
Half to begin, half when it is finished and you have seen it. No surprises at the end.
- 04
Progress as it happens
You see the work at the stages that matter, and there is room to adjust before it is sealed and signed.
- 05
Signed, packed, shipped
Signed when it is finished, then packed and sent to you. Delivery is arranged once the piece is done.
What it costs.

Portrait
A3 · 29.7 × 42 cmOne or two figures, worked up in detail. Ink, or oil pastel if you want colour.
Large work
A2 and aboveA piece built for a wall. Composition, medium and surface decided together.
Starting prices, not quotes — the final figure depends on size, medium and how much is in the picture.
Tell me what
you want made.
Send a note with the subject, a rough size, and when you would like it by. I answer personally, usually the same day.
